The LIFE Technical Advisory Board
The LIFE TAB was set up in 2006 to advise LIFE’s board of directors and input into the LIFE Acceleration process (LIFE Cycle). Its primary objectives are:-
a) To provide advice on technology strategy for the Accelerator;
b) To provide advice on portfolio balance and mix for the Accelerator;
c) To provide underpinning for the Accelerator's central role addressing climate change; and
d) To provide advice on screening processes and selection criteria for the Accelerator.
Other objectives include:
e) To provide the Accelerator with access to academic and commercial networks in new energy technologies.
f) To provide some aspects of technology due diligence to the Accelerator;
g) To help steer the development of the LIFE concept and provide informal support to the Accelerator; and
h) To access networks for LIFE covering participants within universities, technical institutes and governments, centres of excellence, relevant industries and independent early stage developers.
